Yahoo!: The Matrix Revolutions
"In the third installment, the epic war between man and machine reaches a thundering crescendo: the Zion military, aided by courageous civilian volunteers like Zee and the Kid, desperately battles to hold back the Sentinel invasion as the Machine army bores into their stronghold. Facing total annihilation, the citizens of the last bastion of humanity fight not only for their own lives, but for the future of mankind itself. But an unknown element poisons the ranks from within: the rogue program Smith has cunningly hijacked Bane, a member of the hovercraft fleet. Growing more powerful with each passing second, Smith is beyond even the control of the Machines and now threatens to destroy their empire along with the real world and the Matrix. The Oracle offers Neo her final words of guidance, which he accepts with the knowledge that she is a program and her words could be just another layer of falsehood in the grand scheme of the Matrix. With the aid of Niobe, Neo and Trinity choose to travel farther than any human has ever dared to go - a treacherous journey above ground, across the scorched surface of the earth and into the heart of the menacing Machine City. In this vast mechanized metropolis, Neo comes face to face with the ultimate power in the Machine world--the Deus Ex Machina--and strikes a bargain that is the only hope for a dying world. The war will end tonight, with Neo's destiny and the fate of two civilizations inexorably tied to the outcome of his cataclysmic confrontation with Smith."

The Matrix Revolutions Cast & Credits

The Matrix101: The Matrix Revolutions Characters
Neo: "Neo is the One. After five previous cycles of death and destruction Neo is able to broker peace with the machines by destroying the one thing that threatens to destroy everything: Agent Smith."

Trinity: "Trinity, a member of Morpheus' crew, is Neo's source of strength. It's only through her love that Neo is able to realize his potential, and it's only through her ultimate sacrifice that Neo is able to finally end the war."

The Oracle: "The 'mother' of the Matrix, The Oracle is able to see the future. She guides Neo on the path to saving Zion (and therefore humanity), at the cost of her previous shell. The Oracle is also responsible for the original prophecy concerning the existence of The One."

Sati: "A program created by two other programs (as their daughter), Sati is smuggled into the Matrix from the machine world, due to a deal made by the Oracle with The Merovingian. This deal costs the Oracle her original shell, though she believes it is worth it due to Sati's importance to both worlds."

Bane: "A member of Ballard's hovercraft crew, Bane is turned into an Agent Smith duplicate in the Matrix immediately before jacking out. Agent Smith now controls him in the 'real world' and attempts to kill Neo there as well."

Commander Lock: "Commander of Zion's military forces, and Niobe's husband. Lock doesn't believe in the prophecy and thinks devoting resources to Neo's quest will ensure Zion's destruction."

Zee: "Zee is Link's wife, sister of Tank and Dozer. She volunteers for infantry duty during the war and is instrumental both in disabling the first digger and in ensuring The Kid can open the hanger door for the return of the Hammer."

Deus Ex Machina: "The machine intelligence that Neo makes a deal with while in the machine city. Neo offers to destroy Smith in exchange for peace, and the offer is accepted."

The Architect: "The creator of the Matrix, the architect informs Neo that much of what he believed about the Matrix, Zion, and his destiny is untrue. Given the deal between Neo and Deus Ex Machina, the Architect is forced into freeing anyone who rejects the Matrix."

Morpheus: "Captain of the destroyed hovercraft Nebuchadnezzar, Morpheus' previous rock-solid beliefs in Neo and the prophecy are shaken by The Architect's claims. Doubt creeps in as Neo heads for the machine city, but Morpheus focuses on co-piloting the Hammer back to Zion with Niobe."

Agent Smith: "A rogue program in the Matrix, Smith is Neo's mirror image, his dark half. He exists to oppose Neo and his growing, destructive power isn't limited to the Matrix. Ultimately, Smith is a greater threat to mankind and to the machines than anything else, thus he holds to key to victory for Neo."

Seraph: "Guardian of The Oracle, Seraph is a program in the Matrix who assists Trinity and Morpheus in confronting the Merovingian (thereby rescuing Neo). The Merovingian refers to him as the 'the prodigal', suggesting a previous relationship."

Niobe: "Captain of the hovercraft Logos, former flame of Morpheus, and married to Commander Lock. Niobe is one of the two main characters in Enter The Matrix. She pilots the hovercraft, Hammer, back to Zion during the war."

Captain Mifune: "Commander of the APUs (Armored Personnel Units), Mifune leads the ground defences against the sentinels when they break through the dock walls."

The Kid: "After being the first to 'self-substantiate', The Kid voluteers to fight in the war and ends up taking over Captain Mifune's APU when Mifune succumbs. The Kid is then responsible for opening the hanger doors in time for the Hammer to bust through."

Link: "The only other member of Morpheus' crew. Married to Tank and Dozer's sister, Link is the operator for the Neb's crew when they enter the Matrix, and he also pilots the Neb in the 'real world'."

Ghost: "Niobe's right-hand. Ghost is especially effective in hand-to-hand combat and weapons usage. Ghost is one of the two main characters in Enter The Matrix."

Merovingian: "Another program in the Matrix, Merovingian holds the key to rescuing Neo's mind and returning him to the real world. With assistance from Morpheus and Seraph, Trinity forces him to divulge that information."

The Train Station
Sati and Neo

Sati: Good morning.
Neo: Who are you?
S: My name is Sati, you're name is Neo. Papa says you are not suppose to be here. he says you must be lost. Are you lost Neo?
N: Where am I?
S: This is a train station.
N: This isn't the Matrix?
S: That's where the train goes...that's where we're going. But you can not go with us.
N: Why not?
S: He won't let you.
N: Who won't.
S: The trainman. I don't like him, but my papa says we have to do what the train man says...or else he will leave us here forever and ever."

The Oracle, Morpheus & Trinity

Oralce: Morpheus, Trinity…thank you for coming. One thing I learned in all my years…nothing ever works out just the way you want it to.
Trinity: Who are you?
O: I’m The Oracle…I wish there was an easy way to get through this, but there ain’t. I’m sorry this had to happen. I’m sorry I couldn’t be sitting here like you remembered me…but it wasn’t meant to be.
T: What happened?
O: I made a choice…and that choice cost me more than I wanted it to.
Morpheus: What choice?
O: To help you…to guide Neo. Now since the real test for any choice is having to make the same choice again knowing full well what it might cost…I guess I feel pretty good about the choice…cause…here I am…at it again.
T: Do you know what happened to Neo?
O: Yes. He is trapped in a place between this world and the machine world. The link is controlled by a program called the trainman. He uses it to smuggle programs in and out of the matrix. If he finds out where Neo is before you get to him…then I’m afraid our choices are going to become difficult.
T: Why?
O: Because of who the trainman works for.
M: The Merovingian.
O: He has placed a bounty on your lives. You must be careful at all times. Seraph knows how to find the trainman…He’ll go with you. For years he has protected me…I hope he can do the same for you.
Seraph: Please, follow me.
M: Oracle…
O: I know Morpheus…I can see you’re filled with doubt, clogged by uncertainty.
M: After everything that has happened…how can you expect me to believe you?
O: I expect just what I’ve always expected…for you to make up your own damm mind. Believe me or don’t…all I can do is tell you that your friend is in trouble and he needs your help…he needs all our help.

The Train Station
Neo, Sati, Rama-Kandra & Kamala

Sati: Are you from the matrix?
Neo: Yes…no…I mean I was.
S: Why did you leave?
N: I had to.
S: I had to leave my home too.
Rama-Kandra: Come here Sati, leave the poor man in peace.
S: Yes, papa.
R: I am sorry, she is still very curios.
N: I know you.
R: Yes, in the restaurant of the Frenchman. I am Rama-Kandra…my wife Kamala…my daughter Sati. We are most honored to meet you.
N: You’re programs.
R: Oh yes. I am the power plant systems manager for recycling operations. My wife is an interactive software programmer. She is highly creative.
Kamala: What are you doing here? You do not belong here.
R: Goodness…I apologize…my wife can be very direct.
N: its OK. But I don’t have an answer. I don’t even know where here is.
R: This place is no where. Its between your world and our world.
N: Who is the trainman?
R: He works for the Frenchman.
N: How did I know you were going to say that.
R: The Frenchman does not forget. He does not forgive.
N: Do you know him?
R: I know only what I need to know. I know that if you want to take something from our world into your world that does not belong there, you must go to the Frenchman.
N: Is that what you’re doing here?
Kamala: Rama…please.
R: I do not want to be cruel, Kamala. He may never see another face for the rest of his life.
N: I’m sorry. You don’t have to answer that question.
R: No, I don’t mind. The answer is simple…I love my daughter very much. I find her to be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. But where we are from, that is not enough. Every program that is created must have a purpose…if it does not, it is deleted. I went to the Frenchman to save my daughter….You do not understand.
N: I’ve just have never…
R: Heard of programs speak of love.
N: It is a human emotion.
R: No, it is a word. What matters is the connection the word implies…I see that you are in love. Can you tell me what you would give to hold on to that connection?
N: Anything.
R: Then perhaps the reason you are here is not so different from the reason that I am here.

Train Station, Trainman in route to station after escaping from Seraph, Morpheus & Trinity

N: When is the train do?
R: It is already late. It is not like the trainman to be late.
N: Do you think it has something to do with me?
R: I can not say. Who knows such things…only The Oracle.
N: You know The Oracle?
R: Everyone knows The Oracle. I consulted with her before I met with the Frenchman. She promised she would look after Sati after we said goodbye.
N: Goodbye? You’re not staying with her?
R: It is not possible. Our arraignment with the Frenchman was for our daughter only. My wife and I must return to our world.
N: Why?
R: It is our karma.
N: You believe in karma?
R: Karma is a word, like love. I way of saying what…I am here to do. I do not resent my karma. I am grateful for it. Grateful for my wonderful wife, for my beautiful daughter…they are gifts. So I do what I must do to honor them.
S: Papa the train!
R: Yes…find your bag, quickly.
N: Can I carry that (Rama-Kandra’s luggage bag) for you?
R: All right.

The trainman arrives on train.

Trainman: Hurry it up, I’m late.

Rama-Kandra and family get on train. Trainman turns to Neo.

T: Who are you?
R: He is a friend…
K: Rama…
T: I know you. So, that’s what they wanted.
N: I need to get back. I’ll pay you what ever you want.
T: Oh?
N: One way or another, I’m getting on this train.
T: Oh no, no, no, no, no, no…you’re going stay right here until the Merovingian says different. If I know him…you’re going to be here for a long, long time.
N: I don’t want to hurt you.
T: You don’t get it. I built this place. Down here I make the rules. Down here I make the threats.
Trainman throws Neo against the wall.
T: Down here…I am God.
Trainman to Rama-Kandra:
T: Get on the train, or you stay here with him.
Train leaves.

Seraph, Morpheus & Trinity meeting with The Merovingian at Club Hell

Merovingian: Has the prodigal child returns…are you here for the bounty? Seraph? Tell me, how many bullets are there in those guns? I don’t know, but I don’t think you have enough.
Seraph: We only want to talk.
Merv: Oh yes, I’m sure you do…you have fought through hell to do so. Yes…I’ll tell you what I will do. Put down the guns and I will promise you a safe passage out of here.
S: All three of us.
Merv: Oh yes, yes…of course.

Merv: Who could have guessed we would all be seeing each other so soon after our last meeting? And since you (Seraph) my little Judas, have brought them here, I can only surmise that the fortune teller has found herself another shell. Disappointing. But not unexpected. I do hope however, she has the good manners to learn her lesson…and to remember that there is no action without consequence. And if you take something from me…you will pay the price.
S: You know why we are here.
Merv: Come know…what kind of question is this. Of course I know…it is my business to know. Some might think this is a strange coincidence, but I do not. I am curious though, as to how…it actually happened? Do you know?
T: No.
Merv: I didn’t think so. But it is always best to ask.
Morheus: We want to make a deal.
Merv: Always straight to buisness…huh Morpheus. OK…I have something you want…to make a deal, you must have something that I want. And it so happens there is something I want. There is something I have wanted ever since I first came here. It is sad they can not be taken, they can only be given.
Morph: What?
Merv: The eyes of The Oracle. I have told you before there is no escaping the natrue of the universe. It is that nature that has again brought you to me. Where some see coincidence, I see consequence. Where others see chance, I see…cost. Bring me the eyes of The Oracle…and I will give you back your savior. It seems a perfectly fair and reasonable deal to me. Yes…no?
Trinity: I don’t have time for this shit.
There is a fight, Trinity holds gun to Merovingian’s head.
T: You wan to make a deal? How about this…you give me Neo or we all die right here, right now.
Merv: Interesting deal. You are really ready to die for this man.
T: Believe it.
Persephone: She’ll do it. If she has to she’ll kill every one of us. She’s in love…
Merv: It is remarkable how similar the pattern of love is to the pattern of insanity.
T: Times up. What’s it going to be Merv?
Scene ends.

Neo and The Oracle

Oracle: That’s it, you’ve got to use your hands.
Sati: Why?
O: Cookies need love like everything else.
S: Neo!
O: I was hoping to have these done before you got here. Oh well. Sati, honey, I think its time for a tasting. Take this bowel to Seraph and find out if they’re ready.
Sati: I’m glad you got out.
N: Me too.
O: So, do you recognize me?
N: A part of you.
O: Yeah, that’s how it works. Some bits you loose, some bits you keep.I don’t yet recognize my face in the mirror, but…I still love candy.
N: No, thank you.
O: Remember what you were like when you first walked through my door…jittery as a June bug. And now just look at you. You sure did surprise me Neo and you still do.
N: You gave me a few surprises too.
O: I hope I helped.
N: You helped me to get here, but my question is why. Where is this going? When does it end?
O: I don’t know.
N: You don’t know or you won’t tell me.
O: I told you before. No one can see beyond the choices they don’t understand. And I mean no one.
N: What choice.
O: It doesn’t matter. It’s my choice. I have mine to make, same as you have yours.
N: Does that include what things to tell me and what not to tell me?
O: Of course not.
N: Then why didn’t you tell me about the Architect. Why didn’t you tell me about Zion and the Ones before me. Why didn’t you tell me the truth?
O: Because it wasn’t time for you to know.
N: Who decided it wasn’t time?
O: You know who.
N: I did. Then I think its time for me to know a few more things.
O: So do I.
N: Tell me how I separated my mind from my body without jacking in. Tell me how I stopped four sentinels by thinking it. Tell me just what the hell is happening to me.
O: The power of the One extends beyond this world. It reaches from here all the way back to where it came from.
N: Where?
O: The Source. That’s what you felt when you touched those sentinels. But you weren’t ready for it. You should be dead. But apparently you weren’t ready for that either.
N: The Architect told me that if I didn’t return to the Source Zion would be destroyed by midnight tonight.
O: Please, you and I may not be able to see beyond our own choices, but that man can’t see past any choice.
N: Why not?
O: He doesn’t understand them, he can’t. To him they are variables in an equation…when in time each variable must be solved and counted. That’s his purpose. To balance the equation.
N: What’s your purpose.
O: To unbalance it.
N: Why? What do you want?
O: I want the same thing you want Neo. And I’m willing to go as far as you are to get it.
N: The end of the war? Is it going to end?
O: One way or another.
N: Can Zion be saved?
O: I’m sorry I don’t have the answer to that question. But, if there’s an answer there’s only one place you’re going to find it.
N: Where?
O: You know where. And if you can’t find the answer, then I’m afraid there may no tomorrow for any of us.
N: What does that mean?
O: Everything that has a beginning has an end. I see the end coming. I see the darkness spreading. I see death…and you are all that stands in his way.
N: Smith.
O: Very soon he’s going ot have the power to destroy this world. But I believe he won’t stop there, he cant…he won’t stop until there is nothing left at all.
N: What is he?
O: He is you, your opposite., your negative. The result of the equation trying to balance itself out.
N: And if I can’t stop him?
O: One way or another Neo, this war is going to end. Tonight, the future of both worlds will be in your hands…or in his.
End scene.

The Oracle and Agent Smith

Seraph: Oracle…
Oracle: I know, I know. Sati honey, take these cookies…
Sati: Can I come back… I would like to come back.
O: I would like that too.
S: Then I’ll see you tomorrow.
O: I hope so, I hope so.
Agent Smith follows and finds Sati and Seraph
Smith: Oh Well, its been a long time. I remember chasing you is like chasing a ghost.
Seraph: I have beaten you before.
Smith: It is true, but as you can see things are a little different now. And you (Sati) must be the last excile.
Sati: The Oracle told me about you.
Smith: Really? What did she say about me?
Sati: That you are a bad man.
Smith: Oh…I’m not so bad…once you get to know me.
Fade to Oracle and Smith
Smith: The great and powerful oracle. We meet at last. I suppose you’ve been expecting me. The all knowing oracle is never surprised. How can she be…she knows everything. But if that’s true then why is she here, if she knew I was coming why wouldn’t she leave. (Smith throws cookies from the table) Maybe you knew I was going to do that, maybe you didn’t. If you did that means you baked those cookies and set that plate right there deliberately, purposefully…which means that you’re sitting there also deliberately, purposefully.
Oracle: What did you do with Sati?
Smith: Cookies need love like every thing does.
Oracle: You are a bastard.
Smith: You would know mom.
O: Do what you’re here to do.
Smith: Yes ma’am.
Smith changes The Oracle into a Smith, gaining the eyes of The Oracle.
Scene ends.

Neo and Trinity just prior to leaving for the Machine City

Neo: There is something you need to understand. I know I’m suppose to go, but beyond that…I don’t know.
Trinity: I know. You don’t think you’re coming back. I knew it the moment you said you had to leave. I could see it in your face. Just like you knew the moment you looked at me, that I was coming with you.
N: I’m scared Trin.
T: So am I. Took me ten minutes to buckle up one boot. But I’ll tell you something, six hours ago I told the Merovingian I was ready to give anything and everything for you. And do you know what’s changed in the last six hours? Nothing.
Scene ends.

Bane, Trinity and Neo on ship flying to Machine City

Bane grabs Trinity
Bane: I should have known he’d send his bitch first.
Trinity: Bane!
Bane: No one ever got away from me as many times as you did, every single time I thought it was the last…every time I was sure we had you, but somehow you’d slip through our fingers. I really can’t express just how aggravating that can be.
T: What are you talking about?
B: I think I might enjoy killing you as much as killing him.
They fight.
T: Neo, its Bane, he’s psychotic.
Bane hits Trinity.
B: You’re going to pay for that.
Neo finds Bane who is holding knife to Trinity’s throat.
Bane: Mr. Anderson. I see you are as predictable in this world as you are in the other.
Neo: What?
Trinity: He’s out of his mind.
B: It might appear that way to you, but Mr. Anderson and I know that appearances can be deceiving. Confused, Mr. Anderson? It will all become clear in a moment. Now thank you for bringing me the gun. Now sit it down right there.
T: Don’t do it. Shoot. Shoot now.
B: Yes, shoot, fry us, burn us alive!
T: Do it. If you don’t he’ll kill us both.
B: Look at him, he knows he should do it, but he won’t. He can’t.
T: Do it.
Neo puts gun down.
B: Back away from the gun, turn around.
N: let her go.
Trinity dropped to floor below, Bane gets gun.
B: Some how familiar, isn’t it. We’ve been here before, you and I. Remember? I do. I think of nothing else.
N: Who are you?
B: Still don’t recognize me. I admit it is difficult to even think encased in this rotting peace of meat, the stink of it filling every breath, a suffocating cloud you can’t escape. Disgusting. Look at how pathetically fragile it is. Nothing this weak is meant to survive.
N: What do you want?
B: I want what you want…Yes, that’s it Mr. Anderson, look past the flesh, look through the soft gelatin of these dull cow eyes…and see your enemy.
N: Neo.
B: Oh yes, Mr. Anderson.
N: It can’t be.
B: There is no where I can’t go, there is no where I won’t find you.
N: It’s impossible.
B: Not impossible…inevitable. Goodbye Mr. Anderson.
They fight and Neo becomes blind.
B: I wish you could see yourself Mr. Anderson. You’re a symbol for all you’re kind, Mr. Anderson. Helpless…pathetic…just waiting to be put out of your misery.
They fight.
N: I can see you. (Neo sees light energy of machines and Bane).
B: It’s not over Mr. Anderson, its not over.
Neo kills Bane.
N: Trinity!
T: Neo. Oh no, your eyes.
N: I’ll be OK. It’s all right Trinity, but I think you are going to have to drive.
Scene ends.

Meeting with the Council after Niobe & Morpheus return

Council: What hope can a single vessel have against their (machine city) entire defense system?
Ship Captain: None, its completely impossible, but he (Neo) wouldn’t listen. He wouldn’t even take any ammunition. He was totally out of his goddamn mind.
Morpheus: No he wasn’t. Neo is doing what he believes he must do. I don’t know if what he is doing is right. And I don’t know if he will reach the machine city. And if he does, I don’t know what he can do to save us. But I do know that as long as there is a single breath in his body…he will not give up, and neither can we.
Scene ends.

Trinity and Neo on Ship, entering Machine City

Neo: We’re over the fields, aren’t we?
Trinity: How do you know that?
N: I can feel them…Over there, there’s our path. Can you see it? Three lines.
T: Power lines.
N: Follow them…There, those mountains, that’s it.
T: Do you see what’s out there?
N: Yes.
T: If you tell me we’ll make it, I’ll believe you.
N: We’ll make it…we have to.
T: Sentinels!
N: There’s to many.
T: Gotcha! Come on Neo, I need help here.
N: I can’t beat them.
T: What do we do?
N: Go up, over them.
T: What?
N: The sky, it’s the only way.
T: Up we go.
Ship goes through clouds, all sentinels fall off, Trinity and Neo see real blue sky for the first time in their lives.
T: Beautiful.
Ship comes down and crashes into building.
N: Trin…Trinity!
T: I’m here.
N: Where?
T: Here.
N: We made it.
T: You said we would.
N: Its unbelievable Trin. Light everywhere. Like the whole thing was built of light. I wish you could see what I see.
T: You’ve already shown me so much.
N: What is it Trinity? What’s wrong?
T: I can’t go with you, Neo. I’ve gone as far as I can.
N: What? Oh no. Oh no, no, no…
T: Its all right. Its time. I’ve done all that I can do. Now you have to do the rest. You have to finish it. You have to save Zion.
N: I can’t, no without you.
T: Yes you can. You will. I love you. I always have.
N: Trinity…trinity…you can’t die…you can’t.
T: Oh yes I can. You brought me back once, but not this time. Do you remember on that roof after you caught me, the last thing I said to you?
N: You said, “I’m sorry.”
T: I wish I hadn’t. That was my last thought. I wished I had one more chance, to say what really mattered. To say how much I loved you, how grateful I was for every moment I was with you, but by the time I knew how to say what I wanted to, it was too late. But you brought me back. You gave me my wish. One more chance to say what I really wanted to say. Kiss me…once more…kiss me.
Neo kisses Trinity. Trinity dies.
Neo gets out of ship and starts walking. As he looks down, he perceives a path of light. The Source arises to him.
N: I only ask to say what I’ve come to say, after that, do what you want, I won’t try to stop you.
Source: Speak.
N: The program Smith has grown beyond your control. Soon he will spread through the city as he spread through the matrix. You can not stop him..but I can.
Source: We don’t need you…we need nothing.
N: If that’s true, then I’ve made a mistake and you should kill me now.
Source: What do you want?
N: Peace.
Source: And if you fail…
N: I won’t.
Machine probes are attached to Neo and he is jacked into matrix.

Smith and Neo, final battle in Matrix

Smith: Mr. Anderson welcome back, we’ve missed you. Like what I’ve done with the place?
Neo: It ends tonight.
S: I know it does, I’ve seen it. That’s why the rest of me is just going to enjoy the show. We already know that I’m the one that beats you.
Fight
Smith: Can you feel it, Mr. Anderson. Closing in on you. Oh I can. I really should thank you for it after all, it was your life that taught me the purpose of all life. The purpose of life is to end.
Fight
Smith: Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you're fighting for something? For more then your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson, vagaries of perception. Temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself…although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson. You must know it by now. You can't win. It's pointless to keep fighting. Why Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist?
Neo: Because I choose to.
Fight
Smith: This is my world! My world!
Fight, Neo on ground not moving.
Smith: Wait…I’ve seen this is it, this is the end. Yes…you were laying right there, just like that. And I…I…I stand here, right here…and I’m suppose to say something. I say…everything that has a beginning has an end, Neo.
Neo starts to get up.
Smith: What? What’d I just say? No…no, this isn’t right, this can’t be right. Get away from me!
Neo: What are you afraid of?
Smith: It’s a trick.
Neo: You were right Smith…you were always right…it was inevitable.
Smith puts hand into Neo, changing him into a Smith.
Smith: Is it over?
The newly transformed Smith shakes his head “yes.”
Neo is then “crucified” in the real world, there is the appearance of a cross on his chest during this. All the Smiths disappear.
The Source: It is done.
Neo’s body is dragged toward the machine and there is the appearance that Neo’s consciousness still percieves the machine’s light energy.
Scene ends

Last Scene, in the Matrix, The Oracle, Sati and Seraph

The Oracle: Well now, ain’t this a surprise.
The Architect: You played a very dangerous game.
O: Change always is.
A: Just how long do you think this peace is going to last?
O: As long as it can…What about the others?
A: What others?
O: The ones that want out?
A: Obviously they will be freed.
O: I have your word?
A: What do you think I am, human?
Architect walks away, the sun rises, Sati and Seraph arrive.
Sati: Oracle! We were afraid we might not find you.
O: Everything’s OK now.
S: Look, look! (pointing to the sunrise)
O: Just look at that, beautiful. Did you do that?
S: For Neo.
O: That’s nice. I know he’d love it.
S: Will we ever see him again?
O: I suspect so…some day.
Seraph: Did you always know?
O: Oh no. No I didn’t. But I believed…I believed.
Move ends as sun continues to rise.
